How to Connect WP Popups to Constant Contact
1. Authorize WordPress Site With Constant Contact
To connect WP Popups to Constant Contact, you need to use the external Constant Contact authentication process.
To get started, open your WordPress dashboard and go to WP Popups -> Settings -> Integrations. Then:
- Open the Constant Contact settings.
- Click Add New Account.
- Click the Click here to register with Constant Contact link
This will open a popup prompt to log in to your Constant Contact account and Allow WP Popups access:
Once you grant WP Popups access, Constant Contact will display your Constant Contact authorization code.
Copy this value and add it to the Constant Contact settings in WP Popups. You can also add an internal nickname to help you remember the account:
Then, click Connect to Constant Contact to finish the process.
2. Create Constant Contact Email Opt-in Popup
To finish things out, you’re ready to create your email opt-in popup.
To get started, go to WP Popups -> Add New to create a new popup.
In the WP Popups template builder:
- Go to the Email Marketing tab
- Select Constant Contact
- Click Add New Connection
- Give your connection a name.
- Click OK
After that, you can use the settings on the right to choose your Constant Contact list and configure a few other settings.
From there, you can configure your popup’s style, content, display rules, etc. just as you would for any other popup.
