When you purchase WP Popups, you get access to a set of new addon plugins that help you extend the core plugin with new functionality, like email marketing service integrations, A/B testing, geotargeting, and much more.
To add these extra features, you’ll need to install each addon plugin that you want to use on your WordPress site.
How to Install WP Popups Addons
1. Download Addon Plugin from Your WP Popups Dashboard
To get started, open the Downloads tab in your WP Popups account dashboard. Click this link to visit your downloads page – you will need to log in to your WP Popups account if you aren’t already logged in.
There, you’ll see all of the addons that are available on your plan. To download an addon, click on the addon that you want to download.
For example, to download the Login/Register Addon, you would click on that icon:
This will start the download for a zip file. Keep this file accessible because you will need it in the next step.
2. Install and Activate Addon Plugin on Your WordPress Site
Now, you can install and activate the addon plugin just like you would any other WordPress plugin:
- Open your WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins -> Add New.
- Click the Upload Plugin button.
- Use the Choose File button to select the zip file for the addon that you downloaded in the previous step.
- Click Install Now:
After a short wait, click the Activate Plugin button to make the WP Popups addon active on your site:
Once you activate the addon, you’ll be able to use its functionality via the regular WP Popups interface. For more details on how to use a specific addon, you can consult the knowledge base page for the addon that you’re using.
