If you use Mailigen to manage your email marketing efforts, WP Popups can help you create email opt-in popups that connect directly to your email lists in Mailgen.

How to Connect WP Popups to Mailigen
1. Install Mailigen Addon
To access the Mailgen integration, you first need to install the Mailigen addon plugin, which you can download from your My Account area.
.2. Generate a Mailigen API Key
To connect Mailigen to WP Popups, you need to create an API key in your Mailigen dashboard.
To do so, open your Mailigen dashboard, click on the gear icon in the top-right corner, and select API Keys. Or, you can click this link to go directly to your Mailigen API key area.
Then, click the Create a Key button to create your API key. You’ll then see your API key in the Key column. Keep this value handy because you’ll need it in the next step:
3. Add Mailigen API Key to WP Popups Settings
Now, open your WordPress dashboard and go to WP Popups -> Settings -> Integrations. Then:
- Open the Mailigen settings.
- Click Add New Account.
- Enter your Mailigen API key and an account nickname to help you remember the connection.
- Click Connect to Mailigen.
4. Create Mailigen Email Opt-in Popup
Once you’ve added your Mailigen API key to the WP Popups settings, you’re ready to create your email opt-in popup.
To do that, go to WP Popups -> Add New to create a new popup. You can choose from one of the pre-made templates or use a blank template.
Then:
- Go to the Email Marketing tab
- Select Mailigen
- Click Add New Connection
- Give your connection a name.
- Click OK
Once you set up your connection, you’ll be able to configure some additional settings, like which Mailigen list to add subscribers to.
You can also use all of the normal WP Popups settings to control your email opt-in popup’s appearance, content, display rules, etc.
