How to Connect WP Popups to MailPoet
1. Install MailPoet Addon
To access the MailPoet integration, you first need to install the MailPoet addon plugin, which you can download from your My Account area.
2. Set Up MailPoet Integration
Once you’ve installed the MailPoet addon for WP Popups, go to WP Popups -> Settings -> Integrations and:
- Open the MailPoet settings.
- Click Add New Account.
- Give your MailPoet account a nickname to help you remember it.
- Click Connect to MailPoet.
You should then see a Connected status:
3. Create MailPoet Email Opt-in Popup
Next, you’re ready to create the popup that will connect to MailPoet.
To get started, go to WP Popups -> Add New to create a new popup. You can choose one of the pre-made templates or a blank popup.
Then:
- Go to the Email Marketing tab
- Select MailPoet
- Click Add New Connection
- Give your connection a name.
- Click OK
Then, you can choose which MailPoet list to connect to, as well as a few other settings:
You can also use the regular settings for content, appearance, display rules, etc. just like you would any other popup.
